Knowing the unusual properties of the island and how it has now been established that there is some kind of variable time-dialation effect, here is my theory on how Lost will end in 2010…
Jack and Kate finally make it back to the lost island and find it to be deserted. No people, no structures, no dharma Initiative stations, nothing to show that any modern man or woman had ever been on the island.
They finally decide to go back to the caves where they and their fellow crash survivors had once lived. After looking around at the familiar area for a while, Kate observes that Adam and Eve, the male and female bodies that they had discovered in the cave, are gone.
Kate looks to Jack and asks, “I don’t get it…how could Adam and Eve just disappear?”
Jack considers the strange effect that the island has on time, energy and the like and turns to Kate.
“They didn’t disappear Kate…“ he said, “…they just arrived.”
We zoom in on Jack’s Eye.
It closes.
Fade to black.
