Theory So this theory kind of could explain everything significant in Rousseau's past. Here goes

Pregnant Rousseau, Robert, Montand, Brenand and the other three (we were told there were seven right?) were happily sailing along on a scientific exploration. Dharma needed some workers so they set out a mysterious call on the radio tower luring people to come and check it out. The call was obviously the numbers (as Rousseau said). Maybe using the numbers, or sailing at a certain compass bearing using the numbers got you through the weird line surrounding the island safely. Although we know 315 (Faraday told Lapidus) is the exit route from the island, maybe the island moves making the bearing change as well.
THE KILLING
So Rousseau and her team crash on the island. Now many people’s theories involve time travel here, I agree. Kelvin (Inman) says to Desmond the incident was when the hatch leaked electromagnetism (or something to that effect). So is it possible Rousseau’s crew were affected causing them to time travel and gets unstuck in time? Maybe Rousseau stayed on the boat (because she was very pregnant) whilst the rest of them checked it out and that’s why she wasn’t affected. That’s why she didn’t time travel; she was the only one who wasn’t unstuck in time. So she killed everyone else.
THE CANDLE
Now lets side track a second. Another theory is that Montand who lost his arm, is Mark Wickmund/Marvin Candle/Edgar Haliwax/Dharma movie star man.
Maybe Dharma Movie star man was recruiting Rousseau and her team????Because they were great scientists (but the team didnt know). That would explain how Montand is Dharma movie star man
and it wouldnt surprise me if he had a fourth name
he's in his own tournement with Tom/Mr Friendly/Zeke/Beardy
THE PURGE
So Rousseau gave birth (like Claire could, because she conceived off island) and the others took her baby. Now many ask why Rousseau was safe from the purge gassing. Well Claire was still being treated after giving birth (by Juliet) so maybe Rousseau was kidnapped by Ben (during the purge) given a gas mask and looked after. She was made better and Ben told her to leave at once.
THE MEMORY TRIGGER
So if this is the case, why didn’t Rousseau tell Sayid? Because she got amnesia like Claire and forgot. To cope with the stress of the trauma her mind blocked it out. When Rousseau caught Ben (Henry Gale) this triggered her memory. She started to remember everything. Remember how adamant she was Henry was an other? Because she knew he was, but if she told Sayid she had met him, Sayid would suspect her of being an other as well.
THE CONCLUSION
So that’s it, a Rousseau story that could have some truth in it. We know she’s encountered polar bears and the security system as well, but that could fit in somewhere along the lines, but that’s my theory of Rousseau’s past and im sticking to it.
