We’re sorry if this post contains some mistakes, we are french-speaking. Plus, we haven’t read yet all the theories, so we hope to not repeat.
We believe in a simple theory about LOST, since most of the viewers don’t spend hours trying to understand or figure out what’s happening. We have to keep it simple, yet interesting.
Our theory does not answer all the mysteries, but we’re pretty sure it is right.
We believe the island is a parallel world/4th dimension.
- The 4th dimension is not time: It is space/time. Remember the Room 23’s video: Only fools are enslaved by time and space. 4th dimension is also the movement, it is fugitive and fugacious, disappears as fast as it appeared. Hence, we can’t find the island.
- Look at the Hugh Everett theory in wiki: he was the first to propose the many-worlds interpretation. This could explain the strange facts happening on the island.
- Look at the ‘supraluminic speed’ in wiki, which, as in the Orchid video, speaks also about the Casimir effect.
- In English, “dimension”on wiki: Science fiction texts often mention the concept of dimension, when really referring to parallel universes, alternate universes, or other plane of existence. This usage is derived from the idea that in order to travel to parallel/alternate universes/planes of existence one must travel in a spatial direction/dimension besides the standard ones. In effect, the other universes/planes are just a small distance away from our own, but the distance is in a fourth (or higher) spatial dimension, not the standard ones.
We’re not good at all in physics and science, but as far as we understand, all this could explain how the plane 815 got there by accident, how Juliet traveled there on purpose, maybe even the whispers, or Jacob ‘trapped’ in the dimension?...
Yet, there are too many details to be solved, so if you think something that would explain:
- Smokey
- The non-fertility
- No aging on some people
- How Black Rock got there
- Walt’s power
- Desmond’s travels into another parallel world…
- And probably a lot more we forget.
We’re open to your opinions. Correct us if we LOST our mind ;)
