In Pirates Of The Caribbean : At Worlds End, when they are are in Davy Jone's Locker, they have to flip the boat over to get out, as it was a gateway between both of the worlds. Well i think there maybe something similiar with Lost, not necessarily Davey Jone's Locker, but something similar. Some kind of alternate world or something. My proof to back up this theory is this :
In the Lost ARG Find 815, Sam goes on that ship thats looking for the Black Rock, where they believe sunk in the Sunda Trench. If you remember either on Greatest Hits, or The Man Behind The Curtain, i don't remember which episode it was, when Naoimi is telling Sayid about how they found the plane, and how they found it in some deep trench in the ocean somewhere. Well maybe the Black Rock sunk in the Sunda Trench, and it got sent to the island, and now they Losties crashed in the Sunda Trench and now they are on the island. Maybe the Sunda Trench is some kind of gateway to some other universe, maybe like the Bermuda Triangle. I realize this theory has many flaws, but its hard to ignore the coincidence with what Naomi said, and with the Sunda Trench in Find 815........
