I just finished watching both Seasons of Lost on DVD yesterday, and I couldn't help myself and come up with my own theory. Ofcourse it's gonna go pararell with everyone else's guesses, but I just need to let it out, what I believe that is. I think it is more complicated than it looks. The theories everyone has been coming up with are not exactly what it is. There are more complex issues here. All those theories relating to artificial reality and all that can be ruled out, as it's too obvious. It’s more complex than that. It’s deeper than all the obvious, spot on guesses. It doesn't involve any artificial reality or Truman Show like scenario or Alien experiment or all of this is just going on in someone’s head. It all exists. It’s all real. It deals with a more global phenomenon, which involves a secret government. Yes, I think it all exists, the world, the island. What I think is that a secret government and military have joined hands for this operation. This island is like Area 52 or Bermuda Triangle. A secret hid from the world.
And somehow those others are involved in it as well. They are trying to expose the truth to the world about this island. There must've been some kind of war between this government and with the government where the others worked with. This led them to be stranded on the island, crippled, and somehow, later on, took over it. And the government ain't aware of it. That’s why the hatches have someone to push the button just to let them know, everything is fine. It’s the Island where all the strange things occur. The island is a research.nd there is this ginormous magnet in the middle of the earth, and no scientific research or experiment can explain the strange phenomenons. The strange occurrence, like the survivors imagining things and the secret healings of characters problems. While, I think the others are already immune to those effects. As they must've taken some kinds of drugs to prevent all that from happening and have found out the truth, since they know more about the island than the Losties do. The monster is in fact an advanced security system to get rid of the others. The others are sent by another government to carry some research on this island. And the island is bigger than it looks. At the end of the second season two men on Antarctica or some place detected the island like that. Maybe they work for the government, who must've lost contact with the island officials and finally spotted it.
Maybe it has got to do something with E.T.Everyone is somehow connected, that is just fate. But maybe the survivors just crashed by instance and got caught up in the middle of this conspiracy theory or maybe it was all a coincidence for them crashing on this island or maybe they were meant to be on the island. Maybe not pushing the button does lead to serious consequences, and that's why the numbers must be typed to prevent the magnet from intiating. Maybe this force was created by something beyond explanation and once unleashed it would suck everything to its center. Maybe the others damaged it when it didn't required to push the button. Or it is just a test. It could be anything. It’s got to do something with the Hanso Foundation, and "NAMASTE". I wonder does it have anything to do with the Indians? I don't know.Or, it could just be an island created by the E.T.There is a history to this island yet to be explored. I have another theory of mine, but that I'm not willing to post until I get a little background about the Others. It could sound weird but I think that may explain all.
I know this may coincide with many of the fans own theories, but still, I needed to post mine. I’ve been waiting since the first season and now that I got more answers towards the end of the second season, I finally felt like posting what I thought. So many fans posted so many ideas that I really wonder what could the writers come up with to still surprise us that we haven’t thought of. I think it's going to be hard for the writers to surprise us with their big revelation.
