Widmore + Shepperd = Aaron by beastotheeast

After reading so many other theories my mind keeps jumping to this: Aaron may be so special because he connects two of the islands families.

Aaorons father Thomas i believe is one of Charles Widmores children. Widmore has two peices of art by Thomas one in his bedroom and another in his office. There has got to be a bigger conection there.

Aaron is the union of the Sheppard family and the Widmore family.
Could Charles Widmore have become the leader after Christian was forced to leave the island? We never did see who the actual leader was in 1954.
