I was watching season five and I noticed something in the first episode. When everyone was going back and forth in time they had a scene where Sawyer, Dan, Juliette, etc. were back at the swan site looking at the hole in the ground. Sawyer made a comment about the hatch. He said; Yep, there it is. Blown up just the way we left it. If you pause it on the hole in the ground you will notice that there is metal and a bunch of debris in the hole. Now, if you go back to season three and watch the episode Further Instructions it also shows what the hatch looks like after desmonds turns the failsafe key. IT IS COMPLETLY DIFFERENT!!! In season three it shows just an empty hole with parts of the vent that Kate crawled thru. They said it had emploded. But in season five it clearly shows the hacth with all of that metal that was being pulled into it during the incident. If what they are showing us is true, then that means th! at everything has changed and they actually did change the past. The hatch never got rebuilt. Flight 815 never crashed because Desmond never pushed the failsafe and now they will all land at LAX. I have no clue what is going to happen. But if you compare the two hatch photos(one from season three in Further Instuctions and the other from episode one in season five)then I believe you will come to the same conclusion that after the incident that they never rebuit the hatch.
