LOST Theories - DarkUFO

I guess this is more of a plot point/hole I've been pondering a lot more and more lately. Obviously Juliet's story isn't COMPLETELY done, but for all intense purposes we know she is more then likely dead (and I'm pretty sure that was truly and fully confirmed by Damon and Carlton). My gripe with her character, who I seriously liked more then Kate on an infinite level, is how could she really be a "lostie" for as long as she was and these characters don't know jack (pun intended) about her full knowledge of the Others. I mean seriously, even if we're always just getting snippets into the lives of these ppl, at the same time, are we supposed to seriously and truly believe that she hasn't give any iota of information that would possibly shed any light on ANYTHING? I've brought this up before a while back, but this time after the finale aired, I'm still kind of scratching my head. I know she wasn't a normal Other (si! nce she was recruited off Island), so I wonder if she had to go under the same type of ritual Ben or Cindy apparently did?

At the same time the Latin thing can be easy to explain (or there could be a lot more to it then that), her knowledge of the Monster I believed because probably only Ben, Richard and a few others really know what the thing is (or any real hint), she probably doesn't know about the Temple (since Alex didn't even know), but other then that, like secret locations and other such knowledge that really could get a leg up (like when she pretended to know about a weapons/medicine cache in D.O.C), I call foul.

Seriously she HAD to know more. She was the fertility doctor, and even though the mystical aspect of child conception hasn't been explained yet (though the science part has with the immune system turning during the third trimester), she must know SOMETHING that could have been useful. Other projects like the runway, rituals (like Colleens funeral), Walt's purpose and room 23, other DHARMA stations that haven't been found/mentioned/built yet like the Swan that maybe we haven't even seen yet or the Others commandeer in the future, any history of the island... I mean the list goes on and on, and YES it could be explained in two seconds of dialogue if Sawyer ever learned anything from her, but at the same time, I find it a slight insult that the characters in the 70's didn't seem ANY smarter or more knowledgeable about the Island or the Others after their time in DHARMA. The only one who seemed to use his time wisely during their stay was Hurley trying to help George Lucas write! the Star Wars Trilogy (...oh and I guess Faraday as well -_-)

Peace!
