Season 6 Mind Flashes by tst

This is my first theory on this site. Sorry if it has been mentioned before, but I don't have time to read all the theories or comments.

For the most part, I am a believer in the WHH theory. Time is a straight line and everything happens over and over and over again and it never ends.

What I think happens after the incident is the losties mind travel back to points in their past just like Desmond did when he turned the failsafe key. Desmond jumped to a time when something very significant in connection with the island happened.

The losties are stuck in the past through their consciousness, and just like the island skipped through time when the donkey wheel was turned, the losties are skipping through their whole lives while their bodies appear dead after Jughead is activated. That is why Alpert said they all died.
The losties still have their memories of the island. That may be why young Locke drew pictures of the smoke monster, why Kate was so obsessed with the toy airplane, why Sawyer wrote the note to the other Sawyer, etc.

So, the losties are living their lives over again in flashes. What they don't know is that there is a loophole. I don't know what it is, but maybe it is the constant. Since they are all connected, they begin seeing each other in flashes and recognizing each other. They then become constants and can then change things, like Daniel did for Desmond by creating a memory, and like Penny did for Desmond with the phone call.
So, the mind flashes they have been experiencing eventually get to the island. Since there is only one timeline, it is being re-written to the advantage of the losties. While I don’t think alternate timelines will exist, I do believe that the past can be re-written. So to support the WHH, the original experiences the characters had on the island now never happened and only exist in their minds.

I know the producers or someone said that season 6 would blow our minds. This would certainly blow my mind.

One thing I don't know how to explain is LAX in season 6. I don't think an alternate timeline will be shown. I think there will be flashes back to boarding the Ajira ...weren't those scenes in LAX?

Oh...and one more quick theory: I watched the episode Dave a few weeks ago and wondered if maybe this whole thing is in Hurley's mind, like he said. That would be crazy.
