We will see how far this thing goes back by RIPYOGI

We've seen hieroglyphics, gigantic statues, temples, and everything that suggests that we haven't seen the origins of the island. In fact, I remember Carlton saying in a video (can't remember which one) who knows how far this thing goes back, and Damon responding creepily,"I do." This brings me to my theory. I'm theorizing that to totally confuse and shock the fans, as the season premiere usually has that element of misdirection, we will see the origin of the island. We won't know what the heck would be going on until they showed Egyptian slaves building the four-toed statue.

I keep reading theories venting over the chance that we might not find out the missing events that occur between the Incident and the plane crash. Well I would be more upset if we didn't see the complete origins of the island before the Black Rock landing because it seems to me, from the Jacob/MIB conversation, that history repeats itself. For history to repeat itself it must logically occur. All of the alternate timeline theories are great, but without knowing how this whole shabang began would really irk me. I hope they find a way to work this into the Incident. Besides, if Damon knows how far this thing goes back, why wouldn't he tell us?

Evidence that the Incident will send Jack, Kate, et. al. back in time:

1)They are missing in the period between the Incident and the crash. Not one shred of evidence exists that says they are living after the Incident.

2)Richard Alpert saw them die. Who knows how long Richard has been on the island, but I believe him when he says that he saw them die. Jack, Kate, et. al. must not have died in the Incident since Richard was on the other side of the island when it occurred, and, thus, could not have watched them die.

3)We will see the origins of the island. This would be a great way to do it. Perhaps Jack, Kate, et. al. were the people who came, fought, and destroyed that the MIB was referring to. Maybe when Jacob said they're coming he meant Jack, Kate, et. al., and maybe they'll show up older, wearing shrouded garments.

If anything, I hope you agree that we need to see some history.
