Season 3 ?'s by Puro

I am new to this forum. I have read alot of theories and enjoyed all of them. There are a couple of things that I noticed while rewatching S3 that I have'nt seen anyone write about. For instance I thought it was weird when the others had Sawyer and Kate working on the other Island they were building a landing strip for an airplane, the same one the 316 flight lands on in S5. I wonder who told them to do that and if they knew that was going to happen that raises another million questions right there.

Also in "The man behind the curtain" when little Ben goes out in the jungle to find his mom he runs into Richard with long hair and raggy clothes. But when we see Richard in the 50's in S5 he looks like he always has. The same when Sawyer goes and talks with him about the 2 guys him and Juliet killed he looks like he always has and that is around the same time little Ben goes out and meets him. Just thought it was weird.
