I still cannot get that scene out of my mind. It is the episode Shape of things to come as I recall it. The title itself is intriguing. As for the contexts of the episode well ...
Ben/Charles conversation. The whole conversation was weird. Especially now when we know what actually happened. Charles had an affair. He had a child with an outsider. He was banished from the island. Theres all to it.
But he was claiming that Ben was the reason he was exiled! ?
Opening scene from The Incident is pretty much the same to the the closing scene from Shape of things to come.
I dont know why but I somehow believe that the scene we saw in Shape of things to come was not the conversation between Ben and Charles. It was the conversation between Jacob and MIB.
We have no idea what happened to Ben inside of The Temple. We have no idea how he lost his innocence.
Obviously Charles lied. The island was never ever his. He was never a leader. He never left the island via FDW. So what are we missing here?
Lets look at Locke. Locke is not Locke anymore. From all the evidence we were given I can now say he is MIB. But while talking to Sun he said he is still the same man. It is possible he lied. Or he truly believed he is still the same man. I have no idea. You remember how during the whole 5 seasons he was somehow shifting. Once he is this old man who wants to be someone. On some other occasions he is a hunter, overconfident and all. It can be just normal human behavior but since this is Lost nothing is normal at all. MIB is always there, always present. I mean he had to be. He even said: You have no idea what I have been through to get here. Indeed, what? Was he possessing certain people all these seasons? Was that the way he was trying to find his loophole?
What do you think? Is it possible that certain parts we saw were indeed conversation between Jacob and MIB just in disguise..in a form of some other people, familiar faces?
