Why do we latch on to some names and not others? Why does everyone insist that MIB (man in black) is Essau, just because his "rival" is named Jacob? There are lots of names that have significane in literature, history, philosophy, mythology or the bible. With five seasons of story we could cook up all sorts of craziness using a person's name a a starting point.
Let's take Bram for example. I have not read a signle mention of the name Bram as important, though I could cook up a theory using his name and find some supporting evidence.
Consider:
A) Bram Stoker was the famous author of Dracula.
B) We have seen both Christian and Locke in coffins (sleeping?) only to awaken. Heck, Bram was just seen carrying Locke's body in a coffin-like box.
C) Jacob died with a stab to the chest and a push into the fire.
Therefore Jacob must be a vampire, right?
Doesn't that sound odd? Yes, but it has roots in literature and LOST events. Is it possible. Most would probably argue that it isn't. It's all based upon the name Bram meaning something.
