The makers of Lost have given us a show that we have become addicted to, can't stop talking about and want to learn more of. With our long and last break in production, I think they have given us a gift. The revelations in the finale of who Jacob is (not Locke, at least yet!)and the face of a new nemesis. Although the clash between the dark and light sides has been hinted at before and theorized with the smoke monster, we really haven't seen it this clearly before. There was alot of talk about the two sides being the others and survivors (early seasons), the others and Dharma then Widmore and Ben. Now we really know who is behind the game. I don't know what the rest of you are going to do in your spare time during the Lost drought, but I'm going to be rewatching the entire series looking and speculating who influenced which actions of our survivors. (Or who made which moves in the game.)
One thing that immediately comes to mind as being a dark influence is Hurley's friend, Dave, who tried to talk him into jumping off a cliff. I never could figure out why the island who do this-now it makes more sense. I never understood once we knew more about the monster, why it would kill the pilot. Now that seems more of a dark move. Ana Lucia shooting Shannon, after hearing whispers; this made the reunion of the tailies and the other survivors much more difficult. I look forward to finding other instances of this influence. Other obvious dark moves, having Radzinsky on the island and the Dharma Ranch dressing.
What other moves can you see that the dark man made?
