Ok, we all noticed how Jacob touched our losties, between several decades:
- Touched Kate on her Nose, when she was little;
- Touched Sawyer's hands while passing a new pen for him;
- Touched Sayid when asking for LA Directions;
- Touched Locke when he was lying on the ground;
- Touched Jin & Sun on their wedding
- Touched Jack when passing an Apollo Bar.
However, he did not touch Hugo, and Hugo was the only one that he actually spoke directly about the Island and besides that, handed over a "guitar" for him. He also did not touch Juliet, and she turned out to be the one that "course corrected" the timeline. He also did not touch Illana while in the hospital, and she was the one that brought Real Locke back to Island.
Hugo seems to be a key point in the "game"...blessed, instead of cursed, he is a lucky guy, a "Passepartout" able to get out of any difficult situation...perhaps Hurley/Juliet/Illana are the passport for setting things correctly ?
please be gentle ;-)
