Okay, so at the beginning of The Incident, we saw a man interact with Jacob. this man said how much he hated Jacob and how he was looking for a loophole to kill Jacob. Later, we realize he infiltrated Locke's body to try and kill Jacob. So here's why I think he's the smoke monster:
1. The smoke monster has been known to impersonate people; Yemi, Alex, etc
2. The smoke monster when impersonating Alex told Ben to do ANYTHING Locke said. Good way to get him to kill Jacob, eh?
3. I know some people will think, what about how Locke was right there when Alex was talking to Ben? well, under closer inspection, you will notice that Fake Locke and Smokey never shared a scene
so I could be totally off, but I think that this is true. thanks guys!
