well i am now convinced. i was watching Lafleur last night and with the statue and there was like a clear cut right there so people can see it. But i don't think it is the orchid i think it is the well. Because the well is where you can actually see the statue. the orchid is surrounded by plant life.
i also believe that in that box illana has, it has gas masks. Because back in season 4 daniel, jack, and kate found a case filled with gas masks to. i think illana asked frank the question because she thinks since he worked for widmore that he should know the answer. so i believe illana and the rest of the survivors with guns are going to go to the main island, they are going to find hte beach where the 815ers were and they will have a map. then they will torche the island like keamy was supposed to do. since keamy didnt do it widmore wants someone else to finish the job and kill ben adn john.
