I was reading about time travel earlier and i found this paragraph that i thought was interesting in regards to richard. it seems that with all the ancient egypt stuff being introduced that people are being torn between
a. richard is practicing the ancient egyptian rituals of everlasting life AND
b. richards never aging is casued by time travel.
I personally hope the aging thing is to do with time travel, a scientific approach would be more interesting. I like the idea that some time in the future richard travels back in time. say 200 years. he appears to be himself but he cannot age until he has caught upto the time he travelled back so he doesnt age until them.
here is a paragraph i found...
'Build a machine that can go to the future, 500 years from now, is impossible. Because how can something exist, when it has not yet happened. But its said (even theoretically established) that travelling faster than light actually slows down OUR time where as the time of the world goes faster, hence taking us to the future. I am not sure whether this is possible (theoretically). But if it is, it's not actually taking us ahead of time. It is slowing down us from aging and creating an illusion that we are moving forward fast in time, where as the actual time is moving steadily, unaltered, untouched. I dont want to get into complex stuff like parallel universe (yes, my knowledge about them is limited) or portals/blackholes that pull you to the future' Theory by Dave
