A quick precis, before the link. I read a lot of theories on line, and I have never in 5 seasons found a better researched theory, and a theory harder to poke holes in than this.
It may not please a lot of people, but read it if you dare - but beware it is very long, due to the tonnes of information used to back the theory up.
If I can ask one thing, please don't reply just saying, "This would be stupid" or "This would be a cop out" because none of us know what the writers think, and your probably missing the point.
Also be aware that this theory was submitted a while ago and is not just something to come out of the last few episodes.
Any way, if you love Lost, you will love reading this, whether you agree or not.
