In "The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham", Widmore told John something like: you look just the same now as you looked when I met you when I was 17 years old. This is a hint as to what's going on with Richard. When Widmore was 17, John was from the future, traveling back in time. Richard is doing the same - Richard is from the future, traveling back in time; and always looking the same age.
We have seen several people time traveling. As people travel through time, the "rules" to their time travel are not consistant. Sometimes the time travelers remember other times and other people - and sometimes they don't. Sometimes time travelers interact with the "current people and current times" - and sometimes they don't. Sometimes the time travelers are pushed around in time because of the flashes of light and sometimes the time travel is created in dreams and sometimes it's like daydreams.
Richard doesn't age because he is time traveling from the future. His time traveling behaves similar to Desmond's or John's or Daniel's. However, each of them behaves a little differently.
That's my theory. We must now wonder: since Richard is from the future: whose child is he? Kate might have a baby who grows up to be Richard. Penny might have another baby who grows up to be Richard.
Who else could have a baby?? Is any theory complete without mentioning Annie?? No I won't stoop so low as to bring Annie into my theory . . . Theory by Kay
