Okay,say the the island is unstable in time.
So the characters can appear in at certain time, then there could be a sudden shift in time and they appear in another timeline.
For example say when Ekos brother landed on the Island the Island was unstable in time. Hes see's Eko in the future...
talks to him and then theres another time shift and he disserpears.
Same with Christain, however i believe and the writers have hinted that he is going to become very important in the plot.
Say Christian has managed to control the Island and how it travels through time and space, and can jump though time lines when ever he wants.
This may also explain the whispers.. say people talking etc.. from a different time line or somthing?
Also Jacob, is he stuck in time or somthing?
