First I want to say that I love this site and all the theories that are posted on here. I think it is great and fun to read everyones take on something that we all love.
My theory is not long nor does it explain the island, the plot of the show or what is going to happen to all our favorite characters. This maybe have already been posted but here it goes.It is just something I was thinking about at work today and would like to hear what you all think.
What if the only reason that the losties survived the plane crash was cuz that jacob himself is their constant in the overall time line of lost. I remember reading somewhere that the creators said that jacob is someone that we have seen but not heard. So what if he has been involved in each of the losties lives so that when they crash, they would not perish.
