Hello again. Recently I posted "Family ties" here and mentioned that it is connected to mine "Ghosts" theory. Well, this one is the same. But not exactly - I'll try to give not only faith-explanation, but involve science too.
I rewatched "Raised by another" yesterday. And that's the point, yep. When I watched it first time, the beginning of episode was just Claire's dream. But now...Let's look.
Claire awakens and hears the cry of a little baby. She goes in the jungle and there is Locke. Our favourite hunter is not very good with Claire - he says:
"It was your responsibility, but you gave him away, Claire. Everyone pays the price now"
Well, this is the main key to my theory. I think that when Desmond turned key in the hatch, Island moved in past and because of that there were some time paradoxes. And the Claire's dream is one of them.
Why? My opinion is that it was not a dream, but a time paradox, where everything - future and past is mixed up. Still don't understand? Let's see this "dream" with more detail:
1)Cry of baby. This is actually future. Claire left Aaron in the jungle and went with Christian and he cried a lot because of that. This time Claire can see, what will happen.
2)Locke. He is past-future. Let's refer to his words. If we remember, that Aaron is very important (though, we don't know why), so jigsaw is falling into place. Claire left him and "gave him away" to Kate in future. And the "price"? Aaron is not on Island now and some bad things happened. And John is actually Jacob here - his eyes are non-usual and he is talking just like representer of Island's will.
3)Blood. In the end, Claire's hands are covered in blood. It's future again. She left Aaron, bad things happened and blood of all this people, that died because of that is in Littleton's hands.
See now? It is basically a warning. Don't throw Aaron away, Claire, don't do it! But she didn't listen that time. And look what's happened.
And there is the other explanation. In the future Locke and Richard will try to stop this "bad things" with a time machine - Locke goes in the past, it creates the paradox and he gives the warning. Maybe the time machine is unstable, that's why Locke is not giving direct warning. Interesting, because Dharma will try that too with Faraday.
I believe, that this is not the only paradox or warning in Lost. I can't remember the others, though. And, of course, if you remember things like that, write them in comments, please.
Good luck in revealing Lost mysteries!
