The more Flashforwards that I see, I cannot start to think exactly how they tie together with things that happen on both island nad in the future.
1) This may be silly and I have to thank someone very kindly for pointing this out; but in the first scene where we see Jack get out of bed shouldn't he have some hair on his chest? His chest seems to be almost cleanly shaven? There is a hint to this during the scene where we eventually find out who is showering - Kate - and she says "I bought you a new razor". We see Juliet shaving his stomach and Jack points out that she is shaving a little too high around the where the incision should be. This is cleaning him just a little too much don't you think?
2) This episode is where Jack's illness peaks following on from episode 4x09 where he showed slight signs. The flashforwards in the episode 4x10 tell us exactly how Jack starts to become a drunk and drug addict. Perhaps this reflects on his appendix and thus he becomes ill on the island.
3) From the latest episode (Something Nice Back Home) I can't help thinking Hurley's scene - allbeit short - has a strong significance. He is seeming depressed and Jack tells him what he got up to that day to which Hurley responds "it like heaven". This made me wonder whether they do actually ever get off the island and perhaps they are stranded somewhere on the island hallucinating and believing they are back home and everything is sweet when they haven't left. I also read Doc Jensens column from when Michael returned and he guesses that the finale will be something along the lines of the Oceanic 6 leaving and their future selves reappearing on the island...
4) How come Charles Wildmore and Ben have so much in common, why do they both have daughters? Are they equal and opposites?
The above is just some thoughts that I have and really wanted to share with all on here, not sure how much weight they actually have, but certainly something I would like to discuss :)
