After the finale I believe in this purgatory/limbo stuff which sound completely clear to me. Even those scenes with Ana-Lucia and Ben which are not ready yet.
But what about the shoe, the white one which we see when Jack stands up from the bamboo-wood and runs to the beach on the pilot - which we see again (very weathered and ripped) when Jack goes to the fields again to die.
Anybody got an idea? I know this should be a theory... I don't belive in that circle-theories. Yeah The Circle was the original title but that could also be months before really writing the scripts finally.
It looks like (even we never saw the corps of Christian on the island) the guys wanted us the see the shoe in both scenes by making the picture clearer in the foreground.
