LOST Theories - DarkUFO

Season Six Opener by RunningFox

After the crazy finale that was season five, I’ve been speculating just how on earth season six will begin, and here’s what I came up with: This is based on the recurring pattern on previous season openers, whereby, usually, they begin in a brand new location that we’ve never seen before, with a new character we’ve never seen. Season two opened in the Hatch with Desmond, season three opened in Otherville with Juliet, season four in L.A., albeit with Jack, and season five in Dharmaville with Chang.

So, from this evidence, I’ve deduced that there are only really two major locations, that we know of, that are likely to be used for a season opener. And they are: The Black Rock slave ship, and the Temple.

I believe it’s highly likely they could open with either one of these but for purposes of this “theory”, and I use the term lightly, I’ll go with the Black Rock. And the new character we’ll meet will be Captain Magnus Hanso. Also, I think the opener will take place at around about the same time as Jacob’s and MIB’s conversation on the beach. We may also learn that, on the ship with Hanso, will be Richard Alpert, or Ricardus, as he’ll be named.

Now, during their approach to the Island, they’ll hit a storm, much like Desmond did on the Elizabeth. The ship will slam into rock and will actually sink before it reaches shore, though, most of the crew, including Hanso and Ricardus will manage to swim to the beach. Most of the ship will sink and be lost forever, but part of the broken wreckage will drift outside the Island’s perimeter, including the first mate’s journal which will later be found and eventually auctioned off to Charles Widmore.

What happens from here, I haven’t a clue, but I think one of the goals of the surviving crew will be to find some way off the Island but they know that without their ship, that isn’t going to happen. Eventually, however, they’ll learn of the Island’s mystical properties and they’ll use the “Magic Box” to “imagine themselves up” a new ship, and so, the Black Rock, their exact same ship, complete with the same imprisoned slaves and dynamite that was onboard before it sank, will be resurrected on the Island, only smack-bang in the middle of the jungle!

Now, their new goal will be to transport the ship to shore, but at some point, either before or after this, the Black Rock crew will have some kind of a run-in with our Losties, who will emerge from the Temple. Of course, they’ll be some kind of major conflict, and once again, our Losties will find themselves at the centre of another vital chunk of Island history.

Don’t have much evidence to support this except the small details I’ve laid out, but I’d like to know what you think.
