"Everything that Rises Must Converge"... That means Alt timelines too... by Ricky

I made a comment on another thread that I now after careful consideration, believe that the 2007 that we saw in season 5 was nothing more that a result of two timelines becoming one single future. It just so happens that the island is the point of convergence so that is the point of the island. It is a Temporal Gateway.

I think that when Ajira flight 316 Flashed (when Jack, Kate, etc, got flashed to 77') the whole plane got flashed to a 2007 that is a mixture of both ALT pasts (77'-04')! In other words this would explain why we see evidence of some of the DHARMA stuff with the picture and all the destroyed Barracks stuff, and also why we see evidence of the Risk game. Both timelines collided to form one single future.

So the Losties will come out of the temple in 2007 to confront whomever, along with Jacob being re-animated.

In one timeline The losties got stuck in the 70's after the incident and after mind flashing to their ALT selves A LA Desmond, then lived out the next 26.5 years on the island waiting for the crash of 815 on the other timeline. This would make the Temple the place that exists outside of time and where the two timelines will collide.

While enjoying the retreat of the island for 26.5 years they were able to give very detailed lists and files on themselves to Jacob Richard or whomever, and they were able to set up all the seemingly coincidental events that needed to take place in order for them to end up on flight 815 in the main timeline, plus the things that needed to be done for the crash-landing of Flight 316 to be successful.

So That means in the main timeline the Losties will die, like Richard said they did, but no worries, because they will be alive on the island in the alternate timeline (with all their season 1-5 memories), just waiting for 2007 to re-unite with all their friends on the Ajira 316 flight (another reason why they flashed off of the flight in 2007 so there would not be two versions in the same space at the same time I/E when they reveal themselves).

They only had to stay in the temple for 3-4 months while the other versions of them selves were playing out what they already did in 2004.

In the main or original timeline this went down:

Everything we saw from season 1-5 happened, then they (Jack, Kate, Sawyer, Sayid, Jin, Hurley, Juliet, Miles, etc), all died just as Richard said they did (why because 1. their consciousness’ left their bodies and took a permanent trip to another timeline, and 2. They need not be alive on the island and be alive in their past off island selves because there would be two versions of themselves in the original timeline and that never happened except for a few days in 1977). The Swan was finished, the computer was set up to push the button, Daniel was born, Danielle landed on the Island in 88 and met Jin, who saved her from the monster, The purge happened in 1992, The "Others" moved into the Barracks while being led by Ben, Des came to the Island in 2001, and started pushing the button for the next 3 years until he followed Inmann or is it Innman and accidentally killed him and forgot to push the button, crashing 815 on the island just as it all happened. Now the Lostie from ! the 70's(who are now because of the temple between timelines) had to hide in the temple from then on until the island stopped flashing.

What does that mean? That means Hawking doesn't work for Widmore but she is an off island agent for The Temple Losties and Jacob, to make sure Desmond does go on that boat race, Same thing with Brother Campbell (he also makes sure that Des meets penny), Richard is the Liaison to the on and off Island "others" or "Temple Losties" or "Templars" as would be fitting like to call them now.

Smokey was Created by the Temple losties with the help of Jacob and DHARMA, To keep people off of the island until it was time, and also to keep anyone who is planning to screw up the timeline to be stopped A La' Eko trying to sway John. They needed everything to go down exactly like it did for their plan to work.

Where does Christian fit in here? I don't know but I'll bet it was Temple Jack's Idea to use him, against himself.

This means that the Temple losties and Jacob are in cahoots with Hawking and Richard.

As for the other side, it is as we saw, the MIB used Locke to create a loophole to kill Jacob and seemingly finish this whole thing in his (MIB’s) eyes, but he didn’t know that Jacob had the fore sight to ultimately negate everything he worked so hard to do.

What about Locke in the Box? I think that Jacob will first use the body to convince the “Dumb Others” along with Sun, and Frank and Ben That Flocke is an imposter. Secondly, I think he will give Life back to or re-animate the true Locke to be a New adviser to the island A La Richard.

What does that mean for Richard? I think he will get killed at some point in this next season but not before having his life story revealed to us the Audience.

Now in closing I will admit that this is all just conjecture and only my most recent thoughts on the direction that LOST will go in the next season. Some of it relies on show evidence, but most of it relies on only Well thought out and imaginative speculation.
