LOST Theories - DarkUFO

What Jack Sees by JohnLockeAmericanHero

Okay so I've been doing some thinking. Jack's eye was the opening of the show. It seems to have great importance. So if/when Jack "reset" time to pre-crash, then maybe he is going to get to see how things would turn out. It really goes back to Jack and Kate's talk in Follow The Leader. Kate pleads with Jack to tell him that everything that happened wasn't all bad, to which Jack replies "enough of it was."

I think that the Island, whether through Jacob or MIB, is going to be showing Jack exactly what would happened had the Island never been a part of the 815ers lives. Sort of like It's A Wonderful Life, but The Island is the forgotten character.

The season premiere, in my eyes, is going to show a ton of alternate scenarios where 815 actually does land. After all, the Universe has a way of "course correcting". So I think after all the mayhem that follows the landing at LAX, Jack is going to wake up in front of Jacob in 1977, who will tell Jack that "He has to go back". Back where? Back to the Future of course. So basically, Juliet died to show Jack his life without the island.

Another thought I had is that perhaps Jack will take on the role Desmond had in season 3, he will see the future, but instead of the future; what could have been. I wouldnt be surprised if Jack "sees" a parallel between the two realities sort of how each character flashback has some relevance to the On-Island Story.

It's just a theory, I don't expect a lot of people to agree with me. I do believe that Jacob will somehow communicate with the '77 Losties.
