LOST Theories - DarkUFO

THE FUTURE OF LOST by LOSTFANCHRIS

This is my ultimate ideology of the upcoming events on LOST. I give credit to anyone who feels this idea comes from them, I am not plagiarizing, and we are all a part of the LOST community and were all just bringing our ideas together. I have read a lot of theories on this website and I’m sure all of your ideas have stuck in my head but I assure you this one was created by mine lmao.

SIDENOTE: When I refer to our “LOSTIES” I mean ONLY the ones in 1977 that were touched by Jacob; Jack, Sawyer, Kate, Sayid, Jin and Hurley. Juliet and Miles will be discussed at the end of my theory.

I’ve given this a lot of thought but I will keep it as short as possible so bare with me...

I believe the reason why Richard said to Sun that he saw our entire Losties die is not because he actually did but because either someone informed him to say it or he believes they died. Apparently throughout the seasons, Richard has been the most mysterious one on the show. He seems to jump out at the right time, knows what he needs to and does what he has to do get there. I stress the “knows what he needs to know” because if the reason why Richard said they died and believes it because he wasn’t informed about it from a higher power who knew what would happen. This brings me back to when Richard, Jack, Sayid and Eloise were taken apart the bomb and Richard asked Jack about John Locke. Disregarding what Jack said to him, the fact that Richard seemed lost and not informed about what was going on shows me he doesn’t know all.

My theory is not based on Richard however he does play an important role; he is the prophet or the interpreter. He gives word from a higher power. I don’t think this power is necessarily from Jacob. I believe it’s some of our Losties, or at least their consciousness.

I don’t know exactly how the producers are going to start the season screen by screen and script by script but I have a generalization about it using my theory.

I believe that Damon and Carlton have followed some routine within the seasons. They have stated that 6 will be like 1, 5 was like 2 and 4 like 3. As a die heart LOST fan I see the resemblance a lot. I believe the similarities between the ending of season 2 and 5 struck up this logic.

Season 2 ending with Desmond blowing up the Swan, an enormous white light shot out turning the sky purple. Season 5 ended a very similar way with Juliet blowing up Jughead at the Swan and an enormous white light shot out as well.

I trust that because our Losties were at ground zero of the white light I believe their minds will jump just like Desmond’s in Flashes before your eyes. This time not to the past, but because the electromagnetism is completely unstable and/or because some of them were touched by Jacob, I believe they’ll jump to the future, but a future that never happened … or did it?

This goes hand in hand with the WHH v. ALT theories that we all have been speculating for the last few months. I am in the middle as of now, and due to my theory because I seem to believe both sides in the sense. There’s always an argument or a counter argument so to sit there and argue seems pointless.

With that in mind I have constructed the theory that the first few episodes well be seeing the ALT theory side and that our Losties will land in LAX airport on September 22, 2004 or whenever the time difference would have been. This also supports the rumors that everyone from season 1 is coming back.

I think that subconsciously our Losties will know each other but won’t at the same time, a little déjà vu if you prefer. Just like in Flashes before your eyes, Desmond is unaware of his island experiences but then throughout the episode sees landmarks so to speak that remind him of the island and then realizes that he’s already done this before. I don’t think our Losties will have supernatural powers, or maybe they will, but I do think once they all realize that they all know one another and about the island there minds will snap back to the present, or the islands present.

I believe the Temple is the key. I think that Jacob ordered Richard and possibly a few other Other’s to snatch the bodies of our Losties and keep them safe in the Temple for years to come. Picture it like a coma, there breathing and alive but subconsciously and consciously are not there. This is because their minds are reliving or creating and ALT universe that there plan actually worked and they landing at LAX. This would also explain why Richard thinks there dead.

I believe once they realize that they never landed in LAX their minds will wake up, they will all be laying next to each other in the Temple, possibly naked … yesss Evangeline Lilly!!!!! lol … I do believe the year in which they wake up will either be 2004 or 2007. Regardless they will wake up almost 30 years later.

This could also relive the past season 3 when Cindy the flight attendant saw Jack in the cage and said that “Were all here to see you”. Almost amazed to see this anomaly standing there, although Jack didn’t know but it’s possible that she and the rest of the survivors went to the Temple and saw him laying there.

There are two scenarios that can play out now. If they wake up in 2007 just as Jacob tells Flocke that “There coming”, our Losties won’t really know what to do or what’s going on. Although this is the more realistic one because if they woke up in 2004, knowing what was going on with Jacob, why would he tell Flocke there coming now if they been aware for three years.

However, the second scenario is kind of cooler too. It reminds me of the beginning of season 5 when they were jumping through time and were in two places at once. If our Losties woke up in 2004 right around the time the flight crashed then they would have been informed of the situation, how they can’t leave due to their other bodies are on the island, possibly causing a casimir affect. But it is possibly they did leave and helped themselves out in some ways or another which we might see that as a flashback or some case.

That’s basically my idea of whats going to happen. The WHH v. ALT theory are two strong sided; I rather play it by ear and stand between. I don’t know where the season will go, I don’t have the answers but my theory seems to hold true. It seems logical considering the show we watch is not so logical.

On a side note. I want to mention Juliet and Miles. I must give credit to the most recent theory I read that cleared up Miles’ story (see: What Happened to Miles by Question Mark). I too believe that because they were not touched by Jacob their minds probably won’t skip. Juliet most likely is very much dead but Miles on the other hand is very much alive and has special abilities that the island can use. Awesome theory Question Mark, I think it’s sick how Miles could be the Other’s informer. That Jacob, Richard and him can be in cahoots. Miles might be the guardian of our Losties in the Temple, inform the others and Richard what to do next, considering he read reports on them while he was stationed on the freighter, went through what they went through in the future, lived 3 years in the past, and the fact that he can speak or sense the dead might be a good weapon against Flocke.

Thank you for reading, I hope this theory broadened everyone’s spectrum and please feel free to comments.
