I really like the concept of Jacob saving the earth (or humanity) over and over like Desmond and Charlie. Good theory! But I would like to think that Jacob is looking for his own loophole that will save earth, not just our dignity. But how do you stop the universe from self correcting? Maybe by creating a bigger problem that, in order to correct, the universe must accept prior deviations. I'm way out there on this, I know.
