I think Raising Arizona was a great movie as I think a lot of Nic Cage movies are but I am conflicted because I really hate the fake southern Accent, and the fact that all his Characters are the same ever single time, it's like all of the movies that he is in are purposely written with that same god awful character, (Snarky, Sly, Happy go lucky, dumb acting but really smart, thinks he's the coolest thing on planet earth, trying to hard to be an anti-hero-but always ends up being the hero-even if he's the bad guy, part that he plays all the time )

But Raising Arizona was good except for that God awful Accent, and that is where it started.

New Yorkers, Should not try Southern accents, without the aid of a dialect coach, it just sounds very "gone with the wind-like".

Ahem, That goes for you too Pacino, and Deniro. See even good actor can get it wrong too.

I couldn't agree more, What I really don't like, (Me being from the southern US), is his ungodly awful attempt at a souther drawl or accent or whatever the hell you wanna call it, and you'd think someone would take him aside and say: "Hey Nic you really need a dialect coach" but nope he just goes on and on doing the same crappy not anything close, so called southern accent in EVERY FRIGGIN MOVIE HE DOES!!! sorry for the rant but it drives me crazy.

This really has nothing to do with the "theory" or "interesting dialouge" as it were above, but Nic Cage is a horrid actor. And before you yell at me, I realize he was in some good crap, not commenting on that, but the guy can't act. He's always the same, always twitchy like he just slammed back an entire pot of coffee. Always sort of goofy, but eventually revealed as smart and slightly bad ass. He's just sort of always the same. Then go watch Al Pacino or Edward Norton, or even Brad Pitt and check out some quality acting.

This theory is close to the truth, but I believe you got a little mixed up. In LOST, there is a plane crash. There were felons on the plane. There is a "virus" on the Island. Is this ringing a bell?

LOST is obviously the sequel to "Con Air".

So this means that next season we'll see Nick Cage...

Bacon numbers...I should have stopped reading at that point. Althought the opening paragraph is kind of a tease...it actually sounds like there could be something interesting to follow...then BAM! Nic Cage.
