The Source and The Temple by BenoitBrunet

Maybe this has been said before, if not...

I thought of this...

What we know based on the clues given through the series...

There is a Source of infinite power, a light power hidden on the Island.
There is a guard for the Source to prevent people from using it (Jacob).
There is a Temple protected by Jacob's people.
There is a Smoke monster on hieroglyph under the Temple.

So I think that we can conclude that...

The temple may have not been built by Jacob's people since he guard it to prevent people from using the power and the Temple is exploiting the light source and the water...
The Statue may have been built to remember their Mother and Jacob took home there.
The Man In Black may have used the people brought by Jacob to finish the Frozen DonKey Wheel and construct the Temple to use the Island's power.
Jacob then took possession of the Temple and prevented the Man In Black to get there with ash circles for some reason...

Jacob is not 'that' good and 'pure' since he allow people, Dogen and his band, to use the Island's power based on his rules...
We may think that it is for good, but he's the one who let the Smoke monster escape in the first place because he was angry...

I think Lost will end with the Smoke Monster going back to were he came from and someone will take the place of Jacob to protect the Island and never let that happen again...
