Twice in sundown we heard creepy Claire sing "When you wish upon a star" the classic Disney song from "Pinocchio." Why am I bringing this up? Because look at the lyrics for the song:

I always enjoy the clues the writes of Lost always leave in their song selection. This has just caught my eye because it was playing as a stunned Kate, creepy Claire, zombie Sayid walked to meet Flocke after the destruction of the temple.
I'm not getting hung up on the whole "what is the ALT, flash sideways" time line argument. I want to see who wins out between the Fate vs. Free Will argument. And is there any free will on the island? Was Daniel right in his variable argument. Is the Man-In-Black-Flocke right in that fate decides all things? Is Jacob right in that everything only ends once and everything else is progress?
That's what I want to see play out. Just wanted to see what all you thought about these lyrics and how much they speak to what is happening on the Island.
