So I have been reading some theories lately some good, some ok, and some that are so crazy it might be possible, who knows its LOST. Mine is not anything special but all the other theories got me thinking. I believe this is my 3 post, hopefully better than the last two. FYI its a little long about 2 1/2 pages in Word.
A lot of the theories speculate on when Juliet smashes the bomb and there is a white flash that Losties will either time travel or mind travel like Desmond.
Take a couple of other things into account like what Richard said before to Sun on the beach, I saw all your friends Die in 1977 and Jacob saying to MIB "They're coming" and lastly the notion whatever happened, happened.
There are 3 groups to consider, Jack, Kate, Sayid and Hurley. The second is Sawyer, Miles, Jin and Juliet. The third our lovely couple Rose and Bernard oh and Vincent.
First one is with Jack and Co. Since Richard said they all died, I believe he believes they did and he did see all the bodies back in 1977 after the blast killed them. I do not think it was a nuke explosion because of the electromagnetic energy countered it to a point but it was big enough to kill the ones around. Radzinksy and Chang left the scene so were safe and able proceed with Dharma and probably the Others allowed them to build the Swan to contain the leak. But our Losties did mind travel like Desmond at the same time of the bomb. They mind traveled back to Aijira 316 aboard the plane right before the crash. This was the last time they were in present time with the others.
Everything we have seen since when the plane 316 crashed is the same, so WHH. For example like our friend Ceasar, he still saw the white flash and saw Hurley disapear but what we the viewer saw was Jack and Co. went to 1977. This time they will flash into present time with Sun, Flocke, Ben, Frank. Although they will flash to the main island possibly even to the same place as they did in 1977 so it will appear we have seen this before. But they will be in current timeline.
Now for Sawyer and Co. this is a little tricky and might have some wholes due to Locke, Charlotte and Dan. When they were skipping through time after the FDW was turned they did flash to current timeline and that was when they went back to the beach and found the Ajira water bottle. Then they got on the out rigger and were being shot at.
So after Juliet smashes the nuke, Sawyer, Jin, Juliet and Miles flash. To present timeline as well. Since they were in present timeline at one point I think they will mind travel to themselves before the out rigger/Ajira air bottle scene. But Dan, Locke and Charlotte will not be there since in present timeline they are dead.
Now it does not really change WHH because they are dead, Dead is Dead.
And we have seen before some people flash and others don't like Sun on Ajira.
Bernard and Rose do not flash, because they have found peace and are content with life. So they live the rest of their lives from 1977 and on. They do become Adam and Eve, so Jack was wrong on estimating how long they have been there but really, when isn't Jack wrong. I think Vincent since he is a dog he will flash to present timeline.
I think the end of season 5 fade to white is a clue to how the Losties will get to current time line, by a white flash.
They mind travel will not affect them like in the Constant, they will have all their knowledge of everything as they go to one present to another present, just different years. Also they're past body from mind travel is now dead so it cannot travel back.
So when the producers say that Season 6 will be have a season 1 feel i think they mean 2 things. One it is now character based and second they are surviving again.
Some other things to think about, maybe Jack and Co. are shooting at Sawyer and Co. not knowing this or even somehow Sawyer and Co. are shooting at themselves.
I think that when Flocke is looking at the main island from Alcatraz that he knows people are there. When he tells Ben he will be back when Ben calls for smokey he says he has something to take care of. I think it will be our losties or a group of them and Juliet will die at this time.
So now all are in present time but we just didn't see it. Its a slide of hand the writers are doing and it will be confusing watching it if this is theory is true.
Jack and Co., Sawyer and Co. find eachother and meet up and I think will get guidance from the others, the ones at the temple. They then will be on there way to Jacob or that Flocke is now headed for the temple and guess who will be there waiting for them, our losties.
So this last week on Spike I watched all 6 Star Wars and we know that Darlton love Star Wars and I noticed something similar to Lost. Widmore ala Darth Vader.
I do think Widmore will be coming back to the island as he told Locke a war was coming and I think he is puppet to MIB. Here is why. He was not leader in the beginning, it was Eloise (this upset him). I think she leaves because she gets mad when Richard hits her or she leaves because she wants to set things strait and not have Daniel die. She is pregnant and the best idea is to leave the island and Widmore(upsets him more). So Widmore now becomes leader by default and in learning about Jacob through Richard he might not like Jacobs philosophy (Jedi way) or even be able to see Jacob like Ben wasn't (angers him some more). I believe he is confronted or finds out who MIB is(Darth Sidious/Emperor) and is scanned and MIB sees his true desires, Money, Power, Corruption (the Dark side of the force) and is using him to fight Jacob .
Remember MIB says he will find a loophole and I belie he has been trying for many years and ways. So then Widmore is banished off the island by Jacob, a counter move to MIB. Widmore was probably going off island to see Eliose and Daniel but then got corrupted with the humans and gaining his fortune and having an affair. So MIB plan failed and had to find another loophole, Locke. Now Widmore this whole time is trying to come back for revenge to Ben and gain the island for his own purposes. MIB will use him and in the end Widmore will kill MIB but right before he dies he repents to Penny (like Luke). Widmore could also be the "they're coming"
